ABOUT
I Don't Teach English. I Train Professionals to Perform Their Roles Effectively in English.
My name is Rita Mobarak, and I am the founder of International Business English Coaching.
For many professionals working in English as a second language, the challenge is not a lack of English knowledge. They have studied English for years, passed language exams, and understand grammar and vocabulary. Yet they still hesitate in meetings, struggle to communicate under pressure, or feel less confident than their expertise deserves.
The problem isn't English.
The problem is performance.
My work focuses on helping professionals bridge the gap between knowing English and performing their professional roles effectively in English.
A Unique Professional Background
My approach is shaped by a unique combination of experience in psychology, rehabilitation, education, and communication.
I hold:
-
Master of Social Work (MSW)
-
Honours Bachelor of Arts in English
-
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
-
Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), Business English and TOEFL
Before becoming a Business English Coach, I spent:
-
20 years working as a registered social worker in psychiatric hospital settings
-
6 years as an acquired brain injury rehabilitation therapist
-
More than a decade teaching English as a Second Language
Working in rehabilitation taught me an important lesson:
People do not develop confidence by studying information.
They develop confidence by successfully performing meaningful tasks repeatedly until those behaviors become automatic.
The same principle applies to professional communication.
The Role Performance English™ Framework
Role Performance English™ Framework is an evidence-based methodology designed specifically for professionals who need to communicate effectively in complex workplace environments.
The framework integrates principles from:
-
Role Learning Theory
-
Errorless Learning
-
Self-Efficacy Theory
-
Cognitive Behavioral Theory
-
Neuroplasticity Research
-
Task-Based Language Learning
Rather than focusing on language as an academic subject, we focus on professional performance.
Clients practice the actual conversations, meetings, presentations, negotiations, leadership discussions, and workplace interactions required by their roles.
Because professionals don't need more English.
They need to perform their roles effectively in English.

My Mission
My mission is simple:
To help talented professionals bridge the gap between knowing English and performing their professional roles effectively in English
To help professionals for whom English is a second language communicate with confidence, credibility, and influence in English.
When professionals learn to perform their roles effectively in English, they stop focusing on the language and start focusing on leadership, decision-making, collaboration, and impact.
Because learning English is not the goal.
Performing your role in English is.
